Artisan showcases the most exciting talent across all art disciplines including painting, sculpture, photography, video and performance.

It also serves as a platform to highlight local artisans’ talent, to attain acquaintance to the entrepreneurial environment and learn to promote and sell their products based on the principles of sustainability. The artisans also have the opportunity to learn, grow and exchange experience with artisans from various communities.

We hold on to the belief that no arts should be discriminated, therefore, we are working towards the direction of building trust and faith by designing accelerator and incubator programmes that cater to the vast communities in Sarawak. We also believe that by connecting people.

Here, we value artistic expression in all forms of arts, as well as the empowerment and support of local artists, community connection and outreach. We also emphasise on community sustainability through sharing of arts, culture and talent; cross-disciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing among the community to ensure sustainability of the economy to the people, are also strongly enunciated.

We aim to develop a vibrant, creative, unique, talented and well-resourced individuals and local community by becoming the economic catalysts to the local artists and local talents. As a social-enterprise hub, we also envision building a supportive foundation to ensure it continues to thrive as well as offering financial assistance to the local industry.

PRE-INCUBATION
BOOTCAMP: CRAFT  YOUR IDEA

Week 1 | 12 – 18 November 2019


A week long hands-on online and offline training programme providing participants with the foundation and knowledge to validate their business or idea through digital media.

Topics included are:
• Basics of Social Media
• Social Media Stats & Evolution
• The different Social Media Platforms & Current Trends
• Setting up Facebook & Instagram for Business page
• Setting up a Facebook Advertising Account
• Integration of Sarawak Pay

INCUBATION
TENUN WEEK: THE MASTERCLASS

Week 2 | 19 – 24 November 2019


A conducive 2-hour sharing sessions and deep diving into the strategy and processes behind making your Facebook & Instagram accounts drive sales and create longerlasting customer relationships

Topics included are:
• The Art of Storytelling and Effective Pitching
• The Future of Content Creation
• Building your Brand and Defining Target Audience

POST-INCUBATION
ROLL-OUT AND TAKE TO MARKET STRATEGY

Week 3 | 25 – 30 November 2019


Develop campaign timeline social media marketing plan where participants learn how to set realistic goals, budget and timelines for the success of campaign, followed  by reports and metrics.

MENTORING & SEED FUNDING:
ONLINE & OFFLINE FOLLOW UP

Week 4 | 1 December 2019 – 12 February 2019


Providing 3 months online and offline follow up to monitor the progressions of the participants. Aside from mentors, participants will also be introduced to various investors, all to drive towards getting their product one step closer ready for the market.

Seed Funding
RM5,000 (one-time payment) will be given to one (1) winning team. Grading criteria includes but not limited to:
• Fan page growth
• Level of engagement
• Total leads
• Total no. of postings each week and content creation
• Response rate
